— The first year involved 'D' coming to The Bridge and delivering some really insightful lessons and guidance to our students on various situations they may encounter. These included gangs, drugs, knife crime, etc. The students responded fantastically to 'D' and started to engage actively in the sessions.
Aside from this, the students would be taught boxing skills, teaching them discipline and providing a physical education that the students were not otherwise accessing. It has also been evident that young people have become more resilient and developed stronger relationships with their peers as a result of The 0161 intervention..
